Uksong Kang

Uksong Kang received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1991 and 1993, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1999. From 1996 to 1999 he was a research assistant at the Center for Integrated MicroSystems, University of Michigan, where his work focused on the development of integrated sensors and sensing circuits. From 1999 to 2004, he worked as a design engineer on the development of FIFO memories and PLL clock chips at Integrated Device Technology, Atlanta, GA. Since 2004 he has been with Samsung Electronics, Hwasung, Korea, working on DRAM design. His current interests include TSV technology and its application to DRAMs.
