Norbert Bay received the Diploma degree in environmental and process engineering from the University of Applied Science in Furtwangen, Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, Germany, in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he worked with Fraunhofer ISE on his diploma thesis and as a Technical Engineer with the topic “electroless nickel deposition on silicon solar cells.” Since 2009, he has been a Senior Process Engineer with the R&D Department, Solar Cell Technology Centre, RENA Technology GmbH, Freiburg, Germany.
