Maria Eloisa Castagna

Maria Eloisa Castagna received the bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Catania, with a research thesis in the optoelectronic field. In 2001, she joined the STMicroelectronics Research and Development Group, focusing on the design and characterization of optoelectronic components and related integration in several technological platforms. Her research interest includes the evaluation and start-up of optical architectures for signals transduction in bio-technological platforms for applications on healthcare and diagnostic field.
