Luca Carletti (Member, IEEE) received the Laurea (cum laude) degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, the M.S.S. degree in physics and nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, both in 2011, with a TIME Double Degree Scholarship, and the Ph.D. degree in photonics from the École Centrale de Lyon, France, in 2015. From 2015 to 2018, he was a Research Fellow with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia, Italy, and with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova, Italy, from 2018 to 2020. Since 2020, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia, Italy. He has authored over 90 publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. His current research interests include integrated photonics, silicon photonics, nonlinear optics, nanophotonics, plasmonics, and optical antennas.
