Her research activity focuses on theoretical investigations and computational modeling of linear and nonlinear interactions in optical nanostructures, including plasmonic devices, optical sensors, low-permittivity media, 2D materials, and sub-wavelength structures for light harvesting.
She has authored or co-authored more than 200 peer reviewed papers and conference proceedings; three book chapters; and holds two US patents. She is a Senior member of OSA and a member of IEEE, SPIE, Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SiEm).
