Head of the DON group of the MPQ Laboratory, in 2006 he has founded and directed 2 Professional Schools at Paris Diderot (“Materials analysis” and “Biophotonics”). Since 2008 he has led the foundation of the Denis Diderot School of Engineering, of which he has been the director ever since. Over the last years, he has coordinated the FET-OPEN TREASURE project, the ANR DOPO project, the DOLPHIN and PANAMA projects of the SEAM Labex, 2 PHC bilateral programs, and he has been partner of the NANOPHI Erasmus-Mundus and the MULTIPLY Co-fund programs of the EU, plus 3 RTD projects and 1 RTN in previous EU programs. He presently coordinates the ANR NOMOS project and participates in the ANR NANOPAIR and NANO-APPEARANCE projects, and in the ASTRID SPAIN project.
