Bio

Julian Büchel (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and the M.Sc. degree in neural systems and computation from ETH Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland. He is currently pursuing the joint Ph.D. degree with IBM Research Zurich, Rüschlikon, Switzerland, and ETH Zürich, under the supervision of Prof. Abu Sebastian and Prof. Martin Vechev. Before joining IBM Research, he was a Research Engineer with Synsense, a Zürich-based startup specialized in hardware for spiking neural networks.
