Franz Schrank

Franz Schrank received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in physics and the M.A.S. degree in nanoelectronics and nanoanalytics from the University of Technology in Graz, Styria, Austria. He is a Project Manager 3D Integration at ams AG and holds the function of a Principal Engineer in the Process R&D Department. Besides 3-D integration, he was involved in several MEMS development projects, including MEMS accelerometer and MEMS microphone and is also engaged in the field of optoelectronics. He currently owns 19 patents in the field of MEMS, opto and 3-D technology. His research interests include process development related aspects.
