个人简介
Dana Weinstein (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.A. degree in physics and astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, in 2009, focused on multi-GHz microelectromechanical systems (MEMS).
She was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA, where she was an Associate Professor from 2013 to 2015. She is currently a Professor with the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Associate Dean of Graduate Education, College of Engineering, Purdue University, IN, USA. Her current research focuses on hybrid MEMS-IC devices for low-power wireless communication, microprocessor clocking, and sensing applications. In particular, she is working to harness the benefits of acoustic vibrations to enhance the performance of next-generation electron devices.
Dr. Weinstein was a recipient of the Transducers Early Career Award, the NSF Career Award, the DARPA Young Faculty Award, the Intel Early Career Award, and the IEEE IEDM Roger A. Haken Best Paper Award.
