Cesar Costa Vera

I am a Professor of Physics at EPN. I work with lasers, optics, spectroscopy, and photonics in general. We have made contributions in Time-of-flight laser mass spectrometry (LDI, MALDI), proteomics, nanospectroscopy, Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), Gas in Scattering Media Absorption Spectroscopy (GASMAS), low-cost optical instrumentation, and nanotechnology. Of our particular interest are applications to local and regional Patrimonial, Forensic, Industrial, and Environmental problems. We devote ourselves to method and instrument development, and applications.
