B. Bergues

Boris Bergues was born in Grenoble, France. He received the physics Diploma in theoretical quantum dynamics in 2003 from the University of Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, where he also completed his Ph.D. on strong-field photo-detachment of negative ions in 2008. Since 2008, he has been working in the Laboratory of Attosecond Physics at the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics. His research interests include strong-field and attosecond Physics with emphasis on multi-particle dynamics in atomic and molecular systems, and the generation of intense isolated attosecond pulses for the study of nonlinear light-matter interactions in the XUV.
