Adam James received the B.S. degree in microelectronic engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, USA, in 2005, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA, in 2010. Since 2010, he has been with Infinera, Sunnyvale, CA, USA, with PICs and photonic integration.
