I connect entrepreneurs with early-stage investors to promote the growth of the Entrepreneurship Institute's King's20 Accelerator and its ventures.
He was awarded a PhD for his research on myonuclear alterations in ageing syndromes and muscle wasting conditions, which he completed in the Ochala Group, under the supervision of Dr Julien Ochala and Prof Stephen Harridge. Yotam is the 2017 recipient of the Peter Baker Travelling Fellowship and Global Research Grant, awarded by King's, as well as the Medical Research Travelling Fellowship, awarded by The Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation, to conduct a 2-months' interdisciplinary research project at the laboratory of Dr Gant Luxton, University of Minnesota, where he studied cellular and nuclear adaptations to changes in their physical environment.
In addition, Yotam is the FoLSM Project Manager of Ageing Research at King’s (ARK), a cross-Faculty consortium of researchers taking a multidisciplinary approach to better understand the mechanisms of ageing, improving health-span and the social impact of ageing.
Yotam's research interests include skeletal muscle function and plasticity, with particular regard to longevity, healthy ageing and ageing-associated disorders.
