Yvain Thonnart

Yvain Thonnart (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree from the École Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France, in 2005, and the Engineering Diploma degree from Télécom Paris, Paris, France, in 2005. He then joined the Technological Research Division, French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), Grenoble, France, the CEA where he was with the CEA-Laboratory of Electronics and Information Technologies (Leti) Institute until 2019 and the CEA-Laboratory for Integration of Systems and Technology (List) Institute. He is currently a Senior Expert on communication and synchronization in system on chip (SoC) and a Scientific Advisor with the Mixed-Signal Design Laboratory, Grenoble, France. His main research interests include asynchronous logic, networks on chip, physical implementation, and emerging technologies’ integration, such as photonics, cryoelectronics, and interposers.
