About me:
I am currently working as a research assistant at Bristol Robotic Lab while pursuing my PhD at the University of the West of England. My doctoral research revolves around the topic of robot manipulation skills learning and generalization through teleoperation. I am particularly interested in studying the transfer and generalization of human-robot skills using intuitive teleoperation interfaces. This research encompasses various contact-rich manipulation tasks such as medical examinations, manipulating deformable objects, grasping soft objects, and composite layup in manufacturing. To validate the proposed methods and theories, I have conducted extensive experiments and demonstrations with a focus on robot-assisted ultrasound scanning.
My research interests extend beyond my PhD project and encompass broader areas related to robot manipulation skills learning, generalization, teleoperation, and robot control. I am deeply passionate about exploring innovative approaches to enhance the capabilities of robots in performing complex manipulation tasks. By investigating these areas, I aim to contribute to the advancement of robotics technology and its applications in various domains.
