Weiqing Cheng

Weiqing Cheng was born in Changchun, China, in 1997. She received the B.E. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2020. She started her Ph.D. project with the Photonic Integrated Circuit Research Group, University of Glasgow, Glasgow, U.K., in 2020. She has been engaged in research on high sensitivity microring biochemical sensors based on SOI platform, surface plasmonic resonance based on metal/dielectric interface, and semiconductor ring-resonator-coupled tunable laser.
