Bio
Vamsy P. Chodavarapu (M'03) received the B.Eng. degree in instrumentation engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, in 2001, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, Buffalo, NY, in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
In 2006, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, as an Assistant Professor, where he currently directs the Sensor Microsystems Laboratory. He is the author or coauthor of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has 1 issued patent. His research is funded by various government and private sources. His research interests include the areas of CMOS sensor microsystems, biological/chemical sensors, mixed-signal very large scale integration design, nanomaterials, biomaterials, and microelectromechanical systems/microfluidics.
Dr. Chodavarapu is a member of the International Society for Optical Engineers.
