Owumi Solomon E

I obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry ('09) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where I am presently a Faculty at the Department of Biochemistry. My Predoctoral and Postdoctoral training was at Indiana University Purdue University, Department of Toxicology (2006-07), and Stanford University, Department of Genetics (2011 -15) respectively. My research interest spans Biochemical Toxicology, Genetics, Chemical carcinogenesis & Immunology. My projects focus on chemical-induced DNA damage and its relevance in carcinogenesis using E. coli and mice as model organisms.
