I have worked on the identification of environmental contaminants and plant products with anticlastogenic and/or anticarcinogenic potentials. Recently, I have been involved in marker assisted genomic studies that will allow the production of improved cash crops and vegetables. Consequently, we will be able to establish our own library with sufficient DNA markers for use in the laboratories, diagnosis and dietary intervention procedures.
