Bio
Sneha Narasimhan (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Amrita University, Coimbatore, India, in 2013, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN, USA, in 2015. Since 2018, she has been working toward the Ph.D. degree with FREEDM Systems Center, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA. Before her Ph.D., she was an Associate Hardware Engineer with Rockwell Automation, and during her Ph.D., she interned with ABB Corporate Research Center, Raleigh, NC. Her research interests include wide band-gap devices, current source inverters, and high-speed motor drives. She is currently the IEEE Power Electronics Society Women in Engineering Treasurer.
