Shuyan Liu

Shuyan Liu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in atmospheric physics and environment from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology, Nanjing, China, in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in meteorology from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, she was a Lecturer with Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. From 2007 to 2011, she was a Model Developer with Illinois State Water Survey, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA. From 2011 to 2015, she was a Research Associate with the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. Since 2015, she has been a Research Scientist II with the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere, NOAA center for Satellite Application and Research, National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service, College Park.
