Ming Fang

Ming Fang received the B.S. degree in atmospheric physics from the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (formerly Nanjing Institute of Meteorology), Nanjing, China, in 1983, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. From 2006 to 2009, he was a Research Associate with the Cooperative Institution for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies, University of Oklahoma. From 2009 to 2017, he was an Associate Research Scientist with the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, University of Miami, Coral, Gables, FL, USA. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Senior Scientist with Aviation Meteorology Division, I.M. Systems Group, Inc., Rockville, MD, USA. Since 2019, he has been with I.M. Systems Group, Inc., and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA Center for Satellite Applications and Research, National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service, College Park, MD, USA.
