Dr Shailendra S. Gurav has a Doctorate in the Faculty of Medicine (2008) from RTM University Nagpur, India, and is currently affiliated as a Professor at Goa College of Pharmacy, Goa, India and Adjunct Faculty at DMIMS University, Maharashtra, India. Dr. Gurav is the recipient of the "Senior Research Fellowship" of the Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India, and was also awarded the "International Travel Fellowship" by ICMR, CICS, and the Phytochemical Society of Europe and Asia. He serves as ‘Advisor’ for ‘American Herbal Pharmacopeia,’ ‘Associate Editor’ for the ‘Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine’ (Elsevier) and ‘Current Indian Science’ (Bentham), Guest and Review Editor for ‘Frontiers in Pharmacology’, Editorial Board member, and Reviewer for several International journals. He is a Vice- President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India-Goa State. He has also given the technology transfer of 05 industrial products. His research interests are Ayurveda Biology, Natural Products Research, Computational Biology, and Herbal Nanotechnology.
