He leads the “Quantum Information with Light and Matter” Group that finds interests in both fundamental quantum optics and in pushing forward quantum information enabling technologies. He has been publishing in leading international journals, and also contributed to several book chapters. His work is well recognized since he received the 2008 Fabry De Gramont Prize by the French Optical Society (SFO), the 2009 CNRS Bronze Medal, the 2010 prize from the iXCore research foundation, and the 2013 UNS Medal. He is also the Director of the CNRS research network (“Groupe de Recherche”) on “Quantum Information, Foundations, and Applications.”
