Kamal Hammani received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Burgundy in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Optoelectronics Research Center, University of Southampton, U.K. Since September 2013, he has been an Assistant Professor with the University of Burgundy. He is currently a Researcher with the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), UMR 6303. His research interests include nonlinear optics, optical communications, optical fibers, frequency-comb, nanophotonics, and plasmonics for applications in opto-electronics in near- and mid- infrared.
