Sang-Won Son

Sang Won Son (Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 1995, 1998, and 2002, respectively. From 2002 to 2010, he was with Marvell Technology Group, Santa Clara, CA, USA, where he worked on multiple generations of WLAN transceiver products. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Senior Department Manager with Mediatek, San Jose, CA, USA, where he developed RF and analog circuits for cellular and connectivity applications. He is currently a Vice President with Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., San Jose, where he is involved in developing the next-generation cellular and wireless connectivity chipset solutions.
