I am a group leader at the Institut Jacques Monod, one of the largest research institutes in biology in Paris, France. We study how membrane trafficking is regulated by physiological and metabolic challenges. We focus on the role of signaling pathways, ubiquitin and arrestin-like proteins in this process. Recently, we also became interested in the effect of 2-deoxyglucose, a metabolic inhibitor, in protein trafficking and cellular physiology, and associated resistance mechanisms.
