Rita Brugarolas received the B.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, in 2016. She is currently a Research Scientist with Intel Corporation, Hillsboro, OR, USA. Her research interests include developing low-power wearable technologies for physiological monitoring and machine learning/deep learning algorithms to enhance human–canine interactions.
