Pinheiro-Silva Renato

Bachelor's at Biomedicina from Universidade Federal do Pará, Brazil (2003), Master's at Microbiology from Universidade Federal do Pará, Brazil (2006) and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the New University of Lisbon, Portugal (2015). In 2021, he completed a post-doctorate by the program of Applied Science to Hematology from the State University of Amazonas, held in the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA). He was a member of the board of the Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Institute in Lisbon, Portugal (2012-2014). He worked as a teacher in public and private universities, both national and international. He was the coordenator of the undergratuate thesis of the Biomedicina course from Seama college, current Estacio college, between 2009 to 2011. He has experience in Molecular Biology and Microbiology, focusing on Virology and genetic of Microorganisms, acting on the following subjects: Molecular biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Seroepidemiology, Molecular Epidemiology, transcriptomic, proteomic, RNAi, RNA-seq, Plasmodium berghei, Anopheles colluzzi and Anopheles stephensi.
