I am working with experimental plant eco-physiology of wetland plants with emphasis on traits conferring flood tolerance. Moreover, I am interested in global patterns of distribution of aquatic plants as caused by environmental parameters such as nutrients, inorganic carbon and light - and also the ever growing issue of brownification of softwater lakes resulting in loss of biodiversity.
