Broadly interested in the intersections of genomics and immune response. Trained as an anthropologist, I seek to understand medicine from an evolutionary perspective—particularly in understudied communities. I am currently working on susceptibility and resistance to Dengue-infection in Guatemala and long-range HLA haplotype diversity in COVID-19 and other autoimmune disorders in Carlos D. Bustamante’s lab at Stanford Medicine.
