个人简介
Nadeem Khalil, PhD from IIT Delhi is one of the experts of Nature Based Solutions for, with main focus of research on Wetlands Technology for Wastewater Treatment. Presently, working as a full-time Professor of Environmental Engineering, also holding a major collaborative research project "PAVITR" within HORIZON2020 Framework with research partners from 6 countries of Europe and 8 institutions from India. Before this, he has successfully completed SWINGS Research Project (Indo-Euro Water Technology Programme within FP7 Framework) where nature-based solutions (wetlands technology) were mainly experimented at a demonstration scale in India. He has an excess of 26 publications, 07 doctoral students’ guidance, and 32 PG dissertations. Besides teaching and research, he is also actively involved and associated with industry, government agencies, and ministries in India and abroad for providing technical advice and consultancy in the field of Environmental Engineering, STPs, Waste Management, and Lake Conservation Projects. He is one of the panel advisors for National Mission for Clean Ganga, and National Lakes Conservation Directorate. He is also actively involved in consultancy projects rendering technical services for STP Projects based on UASB and Wetlands Technologies and In-Situ Wetlands for Drain Wastewater Treatment Systems in India.
