Mohamed Jamal Zemerly (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree from the University College Cardiff, Wales, U.K., in 1986, and Ph.D. degree from The University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., in 1989. Since then, he worked at various U.K. universities, such as UCL, London, U.K., Warwick, Coventry, U.K., and Westminster, London, and then moved to Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in summer 2000, where he is currently an Associate Professor (and ex-Computer Engineering Program Chair) at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department.
