Miguel Vidal

M. Vidal: Currently is a PhD student in Physics Engineering at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, aiming the development of optical fiber biosensors and sweat biosensors for the detection of medical biomarkers with relevance to heart failure for routine monitoring of patients. In 2021, concluded his Integrated Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and then worked as a research fellow in the same institution. His main research interests include optical fiber technology, wearable and point-of-care devices for biosensing purposes and monitoring physiological biosignals.
