Martin Schon

I am a PostDoc at the German Diabetes Center in Dusseldorf and a resident physician at the Department for Endocrinology and Diabetology at the University Hospital in Dusseldorf, Germany. My research interests include heterogeneity in diabetes and skeletal muscle metabolism. I focus on unravelling the link between the pathophysiological phenotype of a person with diabetes and risk of complications, as well as developing targeted approaches to mitigate these complications.
