His current research and consulting activities are concentrated on multidisciplinary approaches to the sinonasal and skull base cancers, focusing especially on the new histopathological and molecular markers able to personalize treatment strategies and stratify patients according to the prognosis. His surgical skills are mainly focused on endoscopic sinus surgery and expanded skull base approaches. He is the author of over 70 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and 12 book chapters, especially in the field of endoscopic skull base surgery.
