Shirazy, M.R.S.

Mahmood R. S. Shirazy received the B.S degree in mechanical engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree from Tarbait Modares University, Tehran, Iran, 2007, and the Ph.D. degree inthermofluids, heat pipe and thermal management from the Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, in 2013. He has published over 14 journal and conference papers. He is currently a research professional at the Université Sherbrooke and also Co-Founder of a startup on Li-ion battery thermal management. Dr. Shirazy was a recipient of multiple research awards including the Audience Choice Award in Micro & Nano Tech. Society-wide Forum Poster Competition ASME IMECE 2014, the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, the Electronic and Photonic Packaging Division Student Member of the year award for 2013, and the Outstanding Paper Award in the conference InterPACK2013.
