Kirk M. Scanlan

Kirk M. Scanlan received the B.S. degree in geophysics from the Western University, London, ON, Canada, in 2011, the M.A.E.S. degree in applied geophysics from the TU Delft, Delft, The Netherlands, the M.S. degree in applied geophysics from the ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, the M.S. degree in applied geophysics from the RWTH Aachen, Aachen, Germany, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in geotechnical engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2018. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the DTU Space, Technical University of Denmark, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. He is an affiliate of the Europa Clipper science team associated with the Radar for Europa Assessment and Sounding: Ocean to Near-Surface instrument. His research interests include radar signal processing, radar sounding of planetary bodies and cryospheres, and the intersection of near-surface geophysics and geotechnical engineering.
