Younes' research interests include Privacy, Cybersecurity, Social Engineering Defence, and different applications of ML and NLP. He has conducted research on the Conformance Testing of Access Control Models, Software Automated Testing and Test Generation Methods, Security and Access Control Inference of Web Applications, Web Tracking, and Privacy of Mobile Applications. Currently, he is working on a DARPA project on detecting and defending NASA JPL and government employees against Phishing, Spear Phishing, Social Engineering attacks in different communication channels such as Email, SMS, and LinkedIn. Besides, he is conducting research on the applications' reviews of Google Play Store and the customer reviews of Amazon products and analyzing their privacy and security aspects.
