Dr. Julio C. Tapia is Biochemist, PhD in Biomedical Sciences and currenlty Associate Professor at University of Chile. His group investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulated by CK2 that promote tumorigenesis and metastasis of colorectal and other cancers. They use many in vitro molecular and cell biology techniques, as well as in vivo models. They have published in Mol Oncol, PNAS USA, Mol Cancer, Oncotarget, CDDis, Cancer Lett, and Front Oncol, between others.
