I'm studying the effects of adenosine signaling and the hypoxic microenvironment on the stemness of glioblastoma stem-like cells (GSCs). I study the effects of purinergic signaling on the regulation of pathways such as Notch and catenin, and evaluate their activation in subtypes of GSCs. In addition, I'm working on a project related to gallbladder cancer, in which we want to establish a panel of immunological and chemoresistance markers with prognostic and predictive potential.
