Jude Kong

Jude Kong is the Director of the Africa–Canada Artificial Intelligence and Data Innovation Consortium (ACADIC), York University, Toronto, ON, Canada. He also leads two other networks of researchers that are designing early warning frameworks for emerging infectious disease outbreaks: Mathematics for Public Health (MfPH) and One Health Modeling Network for Emerging Infectious Diseases (OMNI). He is an expert in mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, data science, infectious disease modeling and mathematics education. His principal research program focuses on the use of quantitative methods to improve decision-making for epidemic and pandemic prevention, preparedness and response. Mr. Kong won the York Research Leader Award in 2020. He was spotlighted among Canadian Innovation Research Leaders 2021(https://researchinfosource.com/pdf/CIL2021.pdf) for his work with ACADIC in 2021.
