I am currently focused on comparative genomics and transcriptomics in an evolutioary view to uncover putative adaptations in phenotipic traits of interest. My main works are focused on yeasts traits desired for bioethanol production, but I am also working on the evolution of pathogenic traits in bacterias and fungi and on the disease related traits on the human genome.
