Bio
Jinuk Luke Shin received the B.S. degree from the University of Louisville, Lousiville, KY, with the highest honor and the M.S. degree from the University of Texas, Austin, both in electrical engineering.
He was with Motorola, Austin, from 1995 to 1997, where he was involved in the design of embedded flash memory for a digital signal processor. In 1997, he joined Hitachi Semiconductor America, San Jose, CA, where he developed the cache array for a microprocessor. He is currently with Sun Microsystems Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, working on the L2 cache design of the SPARC microprocessor. He is a co-author of dozen technical papers in design, device and test areas, and holds two U.S. patents.
Mr. Shin is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi.
