个人简介
I study how instructional design can be leveraged to better prepare health professionals for the complexities of practice. In my work, I examine the role of "foundational knowledge" in the transfer of learning, and how this knowledge can be best integrated into clinical training through instructional design. To this end, I use simulation-based training of procedural skills (e.g., lumbar puncture) to compare the impact of different approaches of integration on skill learning and transfer.
