Jeanguy Provost

Jean Decobert received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from Lille I University, Villeneuved'Ascq, France, in 1993, and was habilitated to supervise research by INSA, Avenue Albert Einstein, Villeurbanne, and the University of Lyon, Lyon, France, in 2002. Since 2004, he has been a Researcher with the team “Epitaxy and New Material Technology,” in the III-V Lab, Palaiseau, France, the joint laboratory founded by Nokia, Espoo, Finland and Thales, La Défense, France, in 2004, and including CEA-Leti, Grenoble, France, since 2011. He is currently In Charge of III-V material growth by MOVPE for photonic integrated circuits applications, with research activities on advanced electroabsorption modulator-lasers for which he mainly focused on the selective area growth technique, the advanced technology platform for optoelectronic device integration. He also contributes to avalanche photo-diodes and image sensor p-i-n photodiodes applications and more recently to new developments on photovoltaic tandem solar cells.
