Julien Cardin

My research blends photonics and materials science. I am interested in fundamental and applied aspects of light-matter interaction, from thin film to waveguide and from nanoscale interactions to macroscopic description. My activities are shared between thin films and devices characterization (spectroscopy) and modeling methods development. My studies should contribute to the development of new devices for light generation, light harvesting, optical information technology and sensing.
