Scientific interests
focused on functional materials and their applications for information processing in energy-efficient circuitry, including ferroelectrics, dielectrics, multiferroics and phase-changing materials. He is active in development of advanced techniques of materials characterization at the nanometer scale, in particular in scanning probe microscopy. His researches that resulted in > 100 publications are focused on functional dielectrics/ferroics, and their integration on semiconductors and metals for applications in information processing and storage.
