He holds a Bachelor's and Licentiate degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI-Perú) in 2008 and also has a specialization in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) completed in 2010. He began his career as a Researcher in the explosives industry FAMESA S.A. in 2008. He worked in the resin industry at Corporación Peruana de Productos Químicos CPPQ S.A. from 2009 to 2011. Continuing his academic studies, he completed his Doctorate in Chemistry at the University of São Paulo, specializing in Bioinorganic Chemistry, in 2015. During his doctorate, he also interned at King's College London, England, focusing on Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2015. He then obtained a Master's degree in Science and Technology/Chemistry from the Federal University of ABC, emphasizing Organic Physicochemistry, in 2018. After completing his doctorate, he continued his academic research and held two postdocs. The first was conducted at the Institute of Chemistry, working in the analytical chemistry of natural products, and the second at the Institute of Biosciences, working in applied microbiology, in 2016 and 2017 at the University of Sao Paulo. Then, between 2018 and 2019, he carried out a third post-doctorate working on biotechnology of aquatic indicators at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) from the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science in the United States. In terms of his teaching career, he served as a Research Professor at the José Carlos Mariátegui University of Moquegua, Peru, in 2020, at the National University of Ingeniería from 2020 to 2021, at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2022, and at Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener in 2022 to 2023. He is a visiting professor at the University of São Paulo - Institute of Chemistry.
