个人简介
Terrestrial plants depend on a supply of water for their growth and development, and have elaborated strategies to achieve water balance in the most adverse environments. The research project developed in my lab aims at understanding the function and regulation of plant aquaporins, channels facilitating the diffusion of water and small solutes across cellular membranes. In this purpose, a multidisciplinary range of molecular, cellular, biochemical, and biophysical approaches are used.
